What is “Foodie Field Trips”?
Foodie Field Trips began as a social and educational activity for members of OLLI at Duke but was suspended in March, 2020 due to COVID. The group now runs as free-standing group open to any fully-vaccinated adult. OLLI membership is not required. Pass along a link to our website to anyone who you think might be interested.
We meet, usually on Wednesday at noon, at a venue chosen to highlight our region’s ever-expanding cultural diversity along with traditional venues, still strong and adapting to new circumstances. Destinations are chosen from suggestions made by group members. They all offer great food at moderate prices. Registration is required for each event via a link on this site.
Alan Magid and Marianne Frisch are co-hosts.
